Reviews

This band gets 5 stars all around for many reasons! The guys are so easy to work with, and were very open to learning particular songs for us. They are all very down to earth, and it shows in their performance. Our timeline of the night ended up being earlier than expected, and the band was totally open and flexible for what we wanted and what we thought our guests would want. There was one point in the night where everyone was on the dance floor for what seemed like hours -- and that's what we wanted. They have a very wide range of music for you to choose from. And if you are lucky, they might even play a 90s Power Hour for you.

Jason Rome also did our ceremony music, and we told him a few bands that we loved and let him arrange the music himself. A great bonus for an already stressed bride. I loved it! Thank you guys for making our wedding awesome!!

Jason and the gang from 5 on Sundays is HANDS DOWN the BEST Wedding band out there. They are one of the reasons our wedding was the best night of our lives. They played everything we asked and more, even if it wasn't on their playlist. They even learned a song on the fly for the ceremony! All of Jason's suggestions were great and made the day so smooth and so special for us. They took care of everything from the ceremony music to the cocktail hour acquistics and then the full band for the reception party. They worked with us on every detail ... they even synced the song "Baby You're a Firework" with the kickoff of our surprise firework display at the perfect moment during the evening.

All of our guests said they were one of the best bands they've ever heard. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. Hire this band if you want your wedding to be as good as ours was! They absolutely turned our wedding celebration in to one heck of a party!!

5 On Sundays MADE our wedding! They kept the crowd dancing all night long, and a year later, our friends are still talking about what a fun band we had at the reception. My Dad even decided minutes before the reception that he wanted to change a few of the words of the Father-Daughter dance to make it more personal, and without hesitation, the lead singer adapted and made his (and my) day! My husband and I love to entertain, and music is always at the top of our list of priorities. Our wedding day was no different, and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment that day! We would recommend 5 on Sundays for any event!

5 On Sundays

5 On Sundays sole mission is to keep the hits coming from every direction including, Funk, Rock n Roll, Pop, Oldies, Country & RnB.  Based out of Charlotte, NC, this band was assembled by 5 friends who wanted to offer a more creative way to play hit music for everyone.

After 3 years of playing music, arranging songs, drinking beer and listening to what else was out there, Zak Foltz – Bass, Mark Miller – Guitar, Jason Rome – Keys, Nate Kivett - Drums and Ryan White – Vocals, decided it was time to bring their talent to the market.

5 on Sundays was born and within 3 months the band acquired their secret weapon – Jessica Sharpe Baker. Former contestant on The Voice, Jessica combines Rock n Roll with her contagious personality and immediately puts smiles on the crowd. With Ryan White, the A Capella standout from UNC, and Jessica Baker it is a true duel threat on stage.
