Green Levels

The Green Levels formed in Charleston, SC in 2008. While early on the band went through several iterations, an acoustic trio quickly emerged comprised of Stephen Jenkins on guitar, Bobby Hogg on upright bass, and Elliott Genther on mandolin. Combined, these three individuals have come to form a sound all their own. Not quite straight ahead bluegrass, not quite folk, not quite acoustic jam rock, sometimes all of the above. Sometimes Lionel Richie!

The influences that each member brings to the table has led to the formation of quite an eclectic trio...one that proves time and time again to surprise and delight.  On one hand, they have an uncanny ability to get a pub up on its feet and dancing. On the other, they add that sentimental touch to your special event. The Green Levels has carved its own niche in the thriving musical collective that has emerged in the Charleston area in recent years.
