The Blue Dogs continue to tour, primarily on the east coast, but in recent years it has performed throughout the southeast, in Texas, the midwest, and the northeast. Over the years the band has performed on the same stage with such well-known and diverse artists as Willie Nelson, Widespread Panic, Bruce Hornsby, and Little Feat. They have also received national exposure by singing the national anthem at the final Southern 500 NASCAR race in Darlington SC in 2004, and in 2007 performing as the house band on a week’s worth of Wheel of Fortune shows.

The Green Levels formed in Charleston, SC in 2008. While early on the band went through several iterations, an acoustic trio quickly emerged comprised of Stephen Jenkins on guitar, Bobby Hogg on upright bass, and Elliott Genther on mandolin. This band has it all. The big sound of a 13 horn section. 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, and 5 saxes. This is the traditional instrumentation that has been in use since the Big Band era of the 30's and 40's. The rhythm section consists of an upright bass, drums, piano and guitar. Kevin’s deceivingly simple yet emotive style on the trumpet has been an ongoing process since he began playing at the age of 10. It was not until then that Kevin began to take a serious interest in playing music. Offered his first gig playing for the Andrew Thielen Big Band and the House of Blues Big Band while still in High School. Kevin moved to Charleston, SC in the fall of 1999 to study music on a partial scholarship at the College of Charleston. Studying under such great influences as jazz drummer Quentin Baxter, trumpeters Lyle van Wie and Charlton Singleton, composer David Maves, and pianist Tommy Gill, Kevin graduated with B.A. in 2003.
