It is hard to explain how a DJ staged with props and break dancers are appropriate fun for an elegant, southern wedding day. But, WOW, does it work! Bryan perfectly read our crowds tempo from the first dance to the send off and everything in between to offer us a uniquely and personally tailored party. They intertwined all genres of music we requested to perfection and included their own twist with costume changes, break dancers, and skits for a performance everyone is still talking about. They hit every "must-play" song and went above their role as musicians/entertainers in every way. Their stage presence was amazing, enthusiasm was contagious, and interaction with our guests was just fun and silly. The band is comprised of D.J. Bryan Mahanes, a.k.a. “The Groove Assasin”, voted “Charelston’s Best Club DJ 2001 & 2002” by the Charleston City Paper, and Greg Walker, a.k.a. “69 Watts”, master drummer and percussionist who has toured with the nationally reknowned band, the Blue Dogs, for over ten years. This combo of musical talent takes the dance party concept to the next level by combining a DJ who uses digital music as well as turntables and vinyl with a live drummer who also combines acoustic percussion with digital technology.

With costume changes, an intelligent light show, glowsticks and a very interactive format, the Electric Company is unlike anything you have ever seen.
